Students from International Education School Attended the Athletic Meeting

On 27th October, ZUM athletic meeting was held in the No. 2 stadium in Xinpu campus. During the three days of heated competitions, foreign students from Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Mongolia were actively involved in 13 competitive events, which has stimulated the enthusiasm of the students for sports, and enhanced the unity and friendship among international students and the big family of ZMU.

Part one: The Opening Ceremony

At the opening ceremony of the athletic meeting, the team of more than 50 foreign students, dressed in colorful and traditional costumes, marched into the meeting place with a banner of "Studying in China and chasing dreams in ZUM". With a cheerful smile on their face, the students athletes passed through the rostrum with neat pace, waving their flags, chanting a uniform slogan, showing their positive and confident demeanor to all the teachers and students in the campus.

Part two: Competitions of Foreign Students

Foreign students from the School Of International Education competed in the men events of 100 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1500 meters, shot put, long jump, and women events of 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1500 meters events, high jump, javelin.

Part three: The Closing Ceremony

The 70th anniversary of ZUM Athletic Meeting came to a successful conclusion. Foreign students from the School of International Education added a unique exotic style and beautiful scenery to the campus by taking chunks team, participating in competitions and being civilized audience. At the same time, they have forged a deep sino-foreign friendship with each other through mutual help and assistance in the sport meeting, and carrying forward the sports spirit of "Friendship First, Competition Second".
